The worst thing is when you do have instructions but they’re involved enough it’s easy to miss something. Particularly if it’s a cooperative game and the thing you missed makes it harder for everybody playing the game because you’re playing *against* it.

I wouldn’t mind if some things in Arkham Horror were worse, in fact. Like... for some reason, I’m not used to the terror level rising being that much of a worry. But: there are some things that seem overly pedantic.
